The music video for Kanako’s single "REASON" has reached 45,000 views on Youtube.
Collaborating with Kanako was a real pleasure and the Picloc Productions team is proud to see the video is finding an audience. With Andy as Director of Photography and Leo and Victor co-directing, the trio thoroughly enjoyed bringing Kanako’s hauntingly beautiful music to life in visuals.

Shooting on Alexa LF paired with vintage Canon Rangefinder lenses enabled us to create a dreamy, soft look. We had an intense two day shoot, with locations all over East London. We filmed on public transport and in skyscrapers, we shot through glass reflections to create a visual poem about the loneliness of London. The video culminates in a surreal sequence where Kanako’s moving boxes come alive and dance with her, in the form of a box-man. Many thanks to our production designer Zhiru Xie for creating the box-suit with so much care.
